Innovation Team @ Work

Thought Leadership Series #7

Innovation Team @ Work – what are they doing?

Innovation teams around the world work very differently. Why is it so hard to find a good rhythm?

Some innovation centers focus on creating amazing ideas and then building prototypes and bringing them to market. However, they get already stuck with idea development. Others go and research the market to find out what customers really want. Yet others focus on what the competition does. And some feel they have earth-shattering ideas, but the management doesn’t get it and reject the idea. And then some scaled-down their aspiration of true innovation and hope to get at least some improvements done. Only very few get to an interesting level of continuous innovation. We share some of our most important findings from roughly a hundred innovative businesses and offer some ways to find your own structure.
