is based on a conscious decision between Code embedded in prompts or prompts embedded in code. Code is hyper precise, linear, repeatable, non dynamic, unintelligent, step-by-step, and very strict. NL (Natural Language) is fluent can be multi task, dynamic, non-linear (lateral), open, less precise, very human. We chose where we use Prompt over Code.
In the GPTBlue Studio you develop prompts – BluePrompts to be precise. BluePrompts are unique multifunctional prompts, almost agents that can handle custom model development, Function Calling, Deep learning, conditional prompts, iterative prompts and many more – without coding. Should you want to add conventional computer code like Python, ColdFusion, C++ or scripts, you embed it as a function call and use it with a prompt.
Each prompt is built with prompt-objects that help sharpen the prompt and leverage special functions in the Agentic AI solution. Prompts are grouped as autonomous prompts or human interaction prompts, and come with different prompt types based on functionality.
Test
Testing code is often a nightmare. Code either works to the spec or not at all. But you are testing prompts. They almost always work !!! This has to do with its intelligence nature. But they may work ok, good or brilliantly. Often times you need to test out all the edges and then decide. For that we have a version control for each prompt. GPTBlue allows multiple users to test prompts. Each test run also records the tester, version, time etc.
Once prompts are tested, they can be deployed or carried over into agents.
Deploy
Unlike simple conventional prompts used in chat systems and shared as a text snippet via email, BluePompts get deployed in prompt libraries or inserted into agents. In either case, they are executed on the BlueCallom AI Platform. The deployment is the process to bring them into a personal or corporate library or into the BlueCallom or possibly other Exchanges or Market places. There, uses can filter between PROMPTS, AGENTS or SOLUTIONS.

From Internal Tool to Agentic AI Solution Builder
In 2022, GPTBlue was initially developed as an internal tool to create multifunctional prompts for the first version of BlueCallom DISRUPT. Developing, testing and deploying 128 prompts and then maintaining all those prompts could not be professionally done with a text editor. So we developed an internal tool to handle it. Sooner or later we shared it with professional prompt designers, business partners and freelancers and realized that prompt developer have it much easier than with any other method available. Today, the internal tool has evolved into a comprehensive solution for many more use cases, creating Agentic AI solutions.
