PROacting AI™ is yet another breakthrough in Adaptive Workflow Intelligence. For more than five decades, enterprise software has been built around predefined business processes. While these systems successfully automated repetitive work, they assumed that the optimal sequence of activities could be designed in advance. At BlueCallom, we created the PROacting AI concept to take the next step beyond Agentic AI: moving from reactive “request–response” intelligence to autonomous, proactive business execution across the enterprise.

Since we learned to use LLMs, we’ve mostly been using reactive systems. Every bot, every co-pilot, every agent responds to a human request. These are useful “kiosk functions”: you show up, ask, get an answer. PROacting AI is built for a different mode. BlueCallom’s PROacting AI technology becomes proactive on its own: it reaches out to connected teams and users, helps navigate workflows, detects idle processes, adapts to a customer’s speed in a sales process, and initiates the right activities, without waiting for someone to remember.
