The Future of Education
KNOWLEDGE EXPLOSION
Because knowledge is doubling every 12 hours, our education system is now under huge pressure. That was predicted already in 1980 by various sources. We have reached that time now.
SPECIALIZATION
Since we realized centuries ago that we can’t learn everything, we began to specialize. That was one of the wisest decisions. But no longer even an option.
LIFELONG LEARNING
More learning doesn’t solve the problem. Adaptation does. We need to adapt to a completely new situation; instead of learning more, we need to learn how to acquire the knowledge when we need it. Instead of broadening our knowledge, we need to learn how to maximize our brain’s capabilities. Similar to how we extended our physical powers or the lack thereof, for instance, flying, faster running, deeper diving, lifting more weight, and much more, we now need to extend our cognitive powers.
LIFELONG ADVANCEMENT
It is our conviction that LEARNING is no longer the center of education; ADVANCING is. In order to advance in the fast-growing developed world, we need to advance our cognitive abilities. That includes, in particular, problem-solving skills, abstract thinking, networked thinking, unfolding curiosity, creativity, intuition, communication skills, critical thinking, and courage.
We aim at advancing and augmenting human intelligence by using AI.
Human Intelligent Augmentation
Participants learn how to:
-
Understand where AI creates real economic, technological, and societal value.
-
Integrate Enterprise Workflow Intelligence where rigid, deterministic processes slow down and criple a business engagement flow.
-
Fuse human intelligence with artificial intelligence to build a cognitive Enterprise
The overarching goal is to master intelligent collaboration with AI.
AI will not replace people. But people leveraging AI will outperform those who don’t.
