Enterprise AI Academy Philosophy
Acquire – Apply – Advance
It is our conviction that knowledge needs to be acquired somehow. Yet, we are ready to debate whether institutional learning is the best way. This controversial thought is shaping the philosophy of the Enterprise AI Academy.
When we have permanent access to any knowledge, it becomes far more important to learn how we access it, how we abstract it, and how we validate what we acquire, than to recite it by heart.
Yes, it does make us dependent on the source of that knowledge. And we humans try to avoid dependence. But most of us are dependent on electricity, water pipes, the Internet, automobiles, and more. So it is a judgment call to use any of those “conveniences,” and the reward is progress.
We should never judge people for rejecting progress and there are countless groups worldwide who reject progress. And we also should also never judge people for advancing and participating or even drive progress.
As such, the Enterprise AI Academy serves those who participate in or drive progress. We believe our species is nature’s best bet to help biological intelligence survive beyond our planet’s lifetime.
The Future of Education
KNOWLEDGE EXPLOSION
When knowledge doubles every 12 hours, our education system will be under huge pressure. Various sources predicted this in 1980. We have reached that time now.
SPECIALIZATION
Since we realized centuries ago that we can’t learn everything, we began to specialize. That was one of the wisest decisions. Evolution never stops. Specialization requires orchestration through generalization. And that is when we hit our limits. In the past, we built tools and later machinery to overcome those limits and called it the ‘Industrial Revolution’. Today we are hitting our limits in how much we can learn. The ‘tools’ we are building to cross this massive barrier aren’t comparable to the tools and machines we built in the past. This time, we don’t augment our physical limitations, but our cognitive ones.
LIFELONG LEARNING
LLL doesn’t solve the problem. Adaptation does. We need to adapt to a completely new situation, where we can’t learn more – but maybe we can reimagine learning as a whole. One way is to extend our cognitive capabilities and capacity somehow. As we extended our physical powers or the lack of them, for instance, flying, faster running, deeper diving, lifting more weight, and much more, we now need to extend our cognitive powers. We do that already with AI.
LIFELONG ADVANCING
Since Lifelong Learning is a dead end, we need to find better ways to advance. We are now talking about Lifelong Advancing (LLA). It’s still lifelong, but not learning as we know it. To advance, we need to better understand the natural cognitive abilities that helped us survive for five million years. Now we need to maximize our cognitive abilities, and our path forward must explore areas far beyond our current technical capabilities. Key abilities include curiosity, courage, creativity, clairvoyance, confidence, collaboration, communication, and continuity.
UNDERSTANDING AI
After learning to read and write, the next most important step is understanding AI’s power to extend our cognitive capabilities and capacity. We see this as even more important than any other learning, including biology, math, physics, history, etc. We think so because our experience has taught us that we can learn anything at an amazing speed if we are interested. Curiosity is a strategic cognitive ability we need to develop and advance to deepen our understanding of whatever we’re curious about. IN that process, AI is an unbeatable teacher.
Nobody needs to know machine learning, training LLMs, prompting, coding, or any of the technical aspects. This is like how you don’t need to be a pilot to fly from Zürich to Singapore. But you need to know how to buy a ticket.
TEACHING IN THE ENTERPRISE AI ACADEMY
We teach what Enterprise AI is, how it works, where its power comes from, and how it will impact businesses, employees, and society. Alongside foundational knowledge, we teach the importance of ten cognitive abilities and skills to become a critical thinker, a reliable observer, a manager without social responsibilities, and a planner for ever-bigger projects.
In particular, how executives can leverage AI to make significant advancements in the years to come.
We train managers to understand what they can advance today and what to expect in the coming years.
We train teams and employees to manage AI, take on additional responsibilities, or be guided by AI.
FACING AN ADVANCED FUTURE
Everyone in the developed world must face the future coming at us. The brave will drive the biggest advances; the fearful will try to stop them. In the end, it will happen for the bravest nations. The weakest will make way for the next generation.

THE FUTURE OF WORK & SKILLS
Conventional skills are what will be trained on AI and robots. They will learn the skills and execute. Humans use their brains to learn specific skills and then use them repeatedly at work. Once a skill was no longer needed, they had to learn new skills to continue working. This will slowly but steadily end. It’s the end of a period that lasted only 250 years within the 5 Million years of species HOMO.
FROM SKILLS TO NATURAL ABILITIES
A bird never went to a flight school. Fish never made a diver’s license. For five million years, humans and their predecessors never went to any school. But once we did, we advanced at extraordinary speed. The most important credential was the development of written language about 5,000 years ago by the Sumerians (Today Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Turkey, and other neighboring states.
In the next five years, everybody will experience that acquiring knowledge with AI is far faster than any other known method. It can go deep, wide, or just stay on the surface. That’s why language will remain a key skill we keep learning. The next skill we see as important to teach is understanding cognitive abilities and how to use them best. For AI users- and that includes everyone with an internet connection- it is highly relevant to learn how to use AI best, how it is constructed, and the risks involved.
