Join us and the ‘Future of Work’
The Future of work starts now – and we are first practicing it.
We can already see today how different it will be from what people think. The big unemployment phase will not happen, even though many are letting people go under the guise of AI. But the reality is profoundly different.
Here is a thought you should read twice and really think about.
You create the next business plan, and your ChatGPT, agent or CoPilot returns it within 10 seconds. A bit later you ask to write an email which you will send to your entire team how the plan will be executed. Another 10 seconds. You do that 20 times a day and utilized 200 seconds of the daily 86,400 secoonds of AI capacity per person. Your AI utilization is bearly above 1% – negligible.
With Enterprise AI you can reach close to 100% utilization but you don’t even have enough people to review the critical results let alone explore options and navigate decisions. With the team you have you may get to 10% utilization
What nobody took into consideration is productivity over time and what it means for an organization’s progression. This is no different from manually crafting a wooden chair and manufacturing it with high-performance wood-shaping machines.
You will be working closely with AI every single day. It will become your companion. The biggest change? You will have more time with customers, partners, and prospects, and to create the future of work by solving problems with your creativity, intuition, empathy, and ingenuity. You will add clairvoyance to your talent set, which you may never have developed.
Your old business process is manual manufacturing. Enterprise Workflow Intelligence is your robot street of a car manufacturer.
Future of work in reality
STARTING POINT
Everything starts somehow and somewhere, either after the concept is understood or when market pressure is too high, from those who are already there. In May this year (2026), I posted that the future of work is about managing AI. This perspective has not changed; it has only become deeper. Most of the workflow of any department is done by Enterprise AI Applications. These are not chatbots, copilots, or agents but complex agentic systems.
ENTERPRISE WORKFLOW INTELLIGENCE
Employees work “inside” intelligent workflows, observe the progress, and review suggestions like strategy papers, proposals, invoices, freight certificates, the next press release, event agendas, and promotions, and so forth. All that information can be shared and double-checked across departments. Research, concepts, ideas, and collaboration go hand in hand with human oversight and intuition, as well as the AI’s wide-reaching knowledge base.
PRODUCTIVITY GAIN
90% of the productivity gain has one exclusive source: Enterprise Workflow Intelligence (EWI). Every team and every department must collaborate at high speed. Not the human employees, but the AI employees. This saves, on average, 25% of working hours almost immediately and can increase to over 50%. Letting people go is like slowing down the machine that brought you the initial value in the first place. Keep the team, and you can double the performance.
AI IS A JOURNEY
One of the first steps is to involve your team in building the AI support they believe they should get. This is not a buy-in process; this is a responsibility and ownership process. Not only do they know better than anyone in the company what the day-to-day business needs are, but those teams can also help others understand how it works and how it can scale. Moreover, the fear of their pure capabilities and lack of AI knowledge is unfair. They know ChatGPT, and if they go with a solution like BlueCallom TRANSFORM, they get guided in doing the right things. NO change management needed. Even worse, change management is usually nowhere near ready to make such a change.
With a first experience like the above, you can begin implementing the enhancements you need. Department by department.
OUR OWN EXAMPLE
Tasks for every teammate inside BlueCallom.
People who just start get three months to get going manually and, at the end, conceptualize the tools they need. We don’t ask them to build it because Enterprise AI is no N8N or Vibe tool. It’s far too advanced to go through a good old Do It Yourself process.
-
BUILD YOUR OWN AI (we code it for you)
You will work manually for the first three months and note all the little things you don’t want to do for the rest of your life. Before the end of the first three months, you will describe your first AI Application. A system built of several agents that will take over probably half of your work. Now you have twice as much time to do what you love to do and grow your success. Along the way, you may describe more agentic functionalitie and gain more time with customers, partners, suppliers, organizations, our community, and ecosystem to engage in where robots are not accepted for a very long time.WHY? Because you will take ownership in what happens and co-create workflows that make sense. You will know what was built and how it works and can judge how good the output is.
-
ENGAGE IN SOCIAL MEDIA
This is a fixed part of your job description at BlueCallom. It doesn’t matter whether you are an engineer, a marketer, a salesperson, a supporter, a bookkeeper, or any other position. We are all humans, and humans are, by nature, social. And being social has two aspects: keeping in touch no matter the distance and strengthening connections in person. Build and expand your business network in our industry, and help your connections avoid missing any relevant opportunities.WHY? What has this to do with AI? Because you will use the time you gain from the usage of AI and use it to connect with the market, customers, partners and the many other humans who run their AI on the other side. Your top qualities are not skills you learned but talents you posess by nature. Intuition, Empathy, Creativity, Clarevoiance, and more. Some you will need to develop if you never used it.
WHEN EMPLOYEES BECOME AI MANAGERS
Obviously, AI Managers are not quite comparable to those who manage people, have social responsibilities, must conform to leadership expectations, and more. But they are responsible for ensuring that what happens serves the company’s strategy and goals. Now, within the range of tasks, there are many different activities to perform. Some are about comparing AI output with expectations; others require assessing complex results that need to be thought through relative to the specific situation, which even an agent would have a hard time judging in isolation.
ONE NECESSITY:
RAPIDLY ADAPT TO CHANGE
Home sapiense overcame the fear of being eaten by wild animals because our species was the physically weakest of all. We overcame the fear of starving to death because we could not find enough food. Now we have reached the point where we fear losing our jobs because we can’t even survive on our own. As long as we can manage an AI, we can survive. And managing AI is half as problematic as everybody thinks right now. All it takes is mastering the No. 1 quality of every living being: adaptability.
